The simple beats of the song, the meaning in the lyrics, and these screensaver graphics all come together for a pretty damn good vid ! Kinda like a Bowie knife . All in all it's just a simple hunk of metal but damn is it useful and dynamic in the right hands !

Entscheidend für mich: Achte Jeden, solange er nicht zur Gewalt aufruft oder sie verherrlicht. Gewalt ist was für "Hirnlose". Rock in jeder Art ist Musik und damit Geschmacksache. Mozart, Beethoven, Bach und andere waren die Rocker ihrer Zeit. Gute Rock-Musik wird zukünftig auch klassisch. Dann gibt's wieder was Neues, ohne das das Alte schlecht wird.

Pop Will Eat Itself released this song in 1994. Die Krupps covered it at some point, but I don't think they covered it in 2007. The song refers to english attitudes towards immigration, and it has been updated by Die Krupps. I'm still figuring out what is the extra line between "If you think this doesn't include you" and "Then we are all outsiders".

That's what the song's about really. Discrimination is a symptom of humanity's state. It's perpetuated in culture and it must be stopped. It's happening again... In fact, it never stopped and it's sickening. It's funny in a disturbing way when people seperate out Christians and discriminate against them as they perceive Christians to do likewise... Normally I'm a big Die Krupps fan (love their Metallica tribute) but this one is a bit lacking. Still, a respectable cover.

Umm, the original song is in English. Except for " ich bin ein Auslander,"" which is misspelled/pronounced. Die Krupps tried to change their style to something more popular, and it didn't turn out....great.

The original version was done by the band Pop Will Eat Itself in 1994, from their album Dos Dedos Mis Amigos, released through Trent Reznor's Nothing Record label. The song was completely written and sung in English (minus the title, obviously). I highly recommend you listen to the original version. As much as I like Die Krupps, their version pales in comparison to the original by PWEI.

By dragging some stupid metaphors to the song you are getting away from the real point of the song. It's pretty straight forward. There is nothing deep to catch in it. Your little emotional quarrel with some christians is little compared to real direct physical violance versus other people.
