@@ronellebates402 @Yashpreet Parmar I knew her for a long time and her loss burns in my fucking soul every day. I have no idea how to adjust to life with her. Just taking it one day at a time. But do me a favor. Failure is the name she gave herself to beat herself up, and her beating herself up is part of what eventually lead to her death even though it doesn't appear to be suicide. i hated calling her that, passionately. yet she insisted, strongly, so i had no choice. Can we please call her Care Kawa from now on?

I met her by chance not knowing who she was and she told me to look her up, we flirted before saying goodbye. But neither of us were single so we both had to come to our sense after that, rather quickly, remained friends for most of the rest of her life if not all of it (remember she went off the grid due to cyberbullying halfway through that fucking pandemic) This was in very early 2012. This was the first song of hers I heard her after renting a CD from the local library. I heard her voice and her guitar for the first time (and the tone was identical to what i had already recorded with, so clearly she used Gibsons and Marshalls) and my ears just CAME! I said to myself, "THIS is the woman I flirted with? WHAT AN HONOR!". I then told her my experience of hearing her for the first time within the first two years and i knew her and she laughed her guts out. SO I AM ALOUD TO SAY IT TO YOU BECAUSE I SAID IT TO HER AND SHE WAS MORE THEN FINE WITH IT! I didn't get to see her enough but i dropped her a line every chance i had so she would know i cared about her as a person even though it had to be kept profesh as possible. we mostly stayed friends, rarely argued. we were supposed to record together after i played bongos with her at one of her absolute last shows. she was a pain in the ass to get to record, with her confidance issues and so forth (which is something i started trying to help her with the instant i knew they were there). also i think my use of 7 string guitar freaked her out, professionally speaking. who else does that in Punk/Grunge? anyhow. Care was one of the greatest women i ever knew. The world is a shittier place without her alive in it, and now always will be, and all of us who loved her now have less to live for. the only regret i have that is larger then being able to make a larger contribution to her life, which was not for lack of trying, to be clear, is not being able to spend more time with my first daughter when she was a baby. That's how much her friendship and her music meant to me. The people who were deliberately part of the chain of events leading to her death can burn and rot in hell. And there are too many of those assholes for me to keep track of. I think we'd need a whole new jail just to hold them all. Also met Anthony at one point, he is a real cool dude. This band never recovered from losing him, If she was first, he was definitely second. His voice is still in exceptionally fine shape. I'm devastated but I have no doubt he obviously feels worse, being her ex hubby and all. I owe him a favor. He knows where to find me if he wants to collect. Hope he's alright.
