One time I moved the box 10 times and still never got the ray gun. I even got the achievement that says "get every weapon in the game from the mystery box in one match"

It's so annoying how frequently this happens. It can kind of ruin a run spending 100k points on the box and not getting the raygun

Easy solution. In dark aether, Break the crystals as it has a good chance of a ray gun

Got Cold War yesterday and instantly tried that strat; Little did I know that Ring of Fire is absolutely needed, got absolutely clapped on round 33🤣 Great guide though, I'll def come back to that once I got Ring of Fire and the Upgrades for it unlocked

If I have the opportunity to get the Ray Gun, yes I get rid of the M16. The Gallo is amazing, just not particularly for this strategy

Which map should I aim for if all I want is a /simple/ grind to round 50-55? Firebase?

Probably any of them honestly. Cold War is a pretty straight forward game for high rounding

Either through Trials, or grinding the Mystery Box post round 30

Probably around 40-50, up until then you can pretty comfortably use either the Ray Gun or the M16 to get Ring of Fire back

very safe and fast strat. the only problems i have found is at least on PS4 the game always errors at 200+ but still a really fun strat

I’ve noticed that my games crash a lot less frequently if I avoid elemental pop. I’ve even noticed people on the Zombie World Records website not getting Elemental Pop.

I don't know if you will respond but I was wondering, I've tried this strat twice, but I eventually run out of materials to build the sems and kazimir so I die, advice for how to prevent this would be great. Thank you.

Really trying to extend the time between when you use the Kazimirs. Either by taking a loop in the spawn room, or using a chopper gunner, or by using an upgraded Mule Kick to occasionally prevent the cost of using a Kazimir

Ok nice but what about when playing with friends because when we try to do this we get kicked off the server at round 97 every time. We were using cross play at the time but we all have pc now so ill post back here if anything changes.

I haven’t personally tested it, however if you were to utilize any of them with ring of fire, I would say the gas upgrade may be beneficial! Maybe we will redo this video for 2023 and test out all of the upgrades

new strat since phd is added and mule kick grab a m79/china lake sit in the room where the fast travel is located in medical bay they can only spawn from 2 locations and all you have to do is spam your m79 then when you need something like ammo drops use a kazimir or c4 use toxic growth to slow them and once its a megaton round in solos the max you can get is 2 at once but that only happens like twice so once a megaton spawns use fast travel sit on plane wing and keep spamming your m79 until the magaton reaches you then either the riskier strat is use a ray gun to knock out tue megaton while zombies are in a kazimir or grab a cruise missile and finish him

As long as you are using melee attacks or headshots, you should have enough by the last zombie on round 6
