I just came here after watching Chappie. I knew nothing of this band before watching this movie whatsoever. But from what I can see in my short experience with this group, there's an awful lot of hate goin' on. And I cannot see why. The songs are good. The musicians are skillful. Chappie has one of the best dialogues I've ever seen in any movie, a very deep one....some may not grasp it but I can't help their intellectual levels. Btween maker and creation. Botha was the longest living person with Progeria, in addition to being an artist and DJ. He lived to 26 yo. You don't know what living life is if you haven't known someone born with a terminal disease. I had a friend Casey who was born with a bad heart. He had a heart transplant but was only supposed to live to his early teens. He lived to his twenties, proving the doctors wrong (like Botha!) and was one of those people who embraces and devours every single day of their life.

A lot of people out here in this world don't realize how well they have it. Like I was just reading comments on an Emo Rappers page: "I want to die" "I hate my life" all that, you know the types. Imagine being put on Earth with Progeria like . His name is Leon Botha he made it 26 years, passed in 2011. Seeing and understanding cases like that remind me to thank my lucky stars daily.
