Okay, first, props to Takehito Koyasu for the little inflections he gave to Diego's speaking voice to really differentiate street rat Dio from horse jockey Diego. Second, I love the little additions to THE WORLD's time stop cue, letting you know this is the real shit, but remixed a little. In the words of George Star Wars, "It's like poetry, they rhyme."

It's one of those things where it's like "would it be different or the same??". So I went with a majority of the same sfx and then the clock coming to a halt to make it slightly different. Like he's not a vampire so time stops a little slower (at least sound wise).

Dio didn't use any knifes in vampire form, only in human form. He likely got it in the slums. DIO got his knifes from a restaurant. There's even a scene of him grabbing them before killing Joseph Joestar. Diego grabs the barbed wire, gasoline and matches from a store... maybe he grabbed some knifes too?

Wouldn't living beings stop moving except non-living objects? Like, animals and humans are basically the same things. If a ts user would touch a non-living object, of course it would move, but if a ts user touches a living being (Jotaro, Joseph, a horse, etc.), I don't think they would move. In conclusion, if you touch an object in stopped time, you will be able to freely move it anywhere, but if you were to touch a living being, you would be able to change their position, but not their minds, hence when DIO moved Polnareff below the stairs without him noticing. And besides, if animals would be able to move when you touch it, then they would've seen everything you did in stop time. Wow, that's a big rant. But not even bigger than when I rant about the Earth being round and not flat

I'm pretty sure the horse is just having a delayed time stop effects or something, cuz when you hear the time stop sounds you aren't fully stopped in time during the middle of the sound. Maybe the horse actually freezes in place while jumping when the sound effect completely wears off. Idk.
