I can’t believe this song only has 208k views. Everyone I’ve ever sent it to or played it for absolutely loves it and all their other songs. Something isn’t right there’s a segment of the population that would buy a million copies of this in no time if they only knew about it. Share this with someone.

This is a perfect spring and summer song. Breezy with a touch of spanish guitar, and smooth singing. I agree, it has a 60ish feel too. A song to blast while you drive with the windows down. Beautiful.

Heard this yesterday on my car radio and it instantly grabbed me. It felt like a lost song from the late 60s. So glad, once again, to find these fleeting songs here on KZbin.

This artist is one of the best newcomers out today. I love his delivery, lyrics and music. This whole album "Laura" is a must have in anyone's collection. Great work for this talented artist who I hope will produce more memorable works to come as good as or better.

Heard this song about 11 years ago - have it on mp3. It's such a very breezy, melodic, Caribbean-feeling soulful sad song.... So under-rated. Everytime I play this, people ask who this is....

I admit to being naive. I thought this was going to be a song about the Island (Diego Garcia) in the Indian Ocean. I was stationed there in the early 80's. It was not, but I still liked the song and strangely enough, it still reflected the attitude of us who WERE there.

Diego Garcia is from Detroit (with Argentine parents) and was the vocalist of the band Elefant (based in New York), that made the indie charts in the 2000's.

XPN isn't perfect, but they still play the best music of any station in the Philly region. They have a target audience that excludes a LOT of music, new and old, that I enjoy..... but I guess their contributors like what they hear. I was a member for a year and made a lot of suggestions, a few of which were actually acknowledged. Now, they're my favorite free station.

Great song, but as a musician it sucks that the singer gets all the fame and fortune. The recording industry no longer wants 'bands' but only a headliner/singer. Just imagine if the Rolling Stones started in this era, Mick Jagger would get all the fame. We would never hear of a band called the 'Rolling Stones,' much less of Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, or Charlie Watts.
