Diego, your channel is one of a few I look forward to watching on Sunday evening. You and your family are such hard and inspiring workers. The wood stove is a great idea, given the price of gas and electricity. One small woodburner heats our whole house in UK which is super insulated, despite being over 100 years old. If you have access to free wood, even better. Thank you for the video and continuing to share your journey, now I have to wait 7 days for next installment 😟

I bought some forest by my house just for the firewood.. I thought when I am an old man.. I will have no money..but at least I can have a cosy warm house in the winter for free.. that's one of most important things I think..to be warm in the winter.

It took me many years of learning and much trial & error to be able to accomplish what you do. My hat is off to you, my friend for all that you do. I really like your videos..thanks for the effort you put into them. I am doing a simular project in Portugal.. my house is a bit smaller then yours. I did my roof last winter and understand the amount of work that goes into it.. but the satisfaction is priceless once it's done..

Cuando se es jóven y se tiene esa condición física y esos conocimientos, se puede restaurar cualquier lugar abandonado. S se tienen los permisos, que la burocracia no perdona... Me alucina el trabajo que hacen. Me pregunto porqué hablas en inglés en tus vídeos. A lo mejor te promocionas como restaurador de viviendas y tienes potenciales clientes ingleses...? Yo te escribo en español porque tu nombre es hispano y porque mi inglés de la escuela es muy básico y después de casi dos décadas viviendo en Alemania lo mezclo cada vez que intento hablarlo o escribirlo. Podría usar el traductor del ordenador para hacerlo en inglés si para tí es importante... En fín que alucino con tu trabajo y el de tu familia y amigos. Me gusta mucho como de una ruina sale un hogar. Más si es en un sitio lleno de naturaleza como este... Saludos.

Thank you, yes, at the moment we are solar provisional, but the idea is to continue like this and over time put more solar panels, but if we wanted it would be very easy to connect it to the grid, we'll see

Hi I am praying that you both start living in house as soon as possible. Wood stove and glass door is a great idea. What about roof are you guys gonna insulate it with foam? and what you intend to put underneath. I would love if you have a beautiful ceiling which is nice for eyes when you lay on bed

Hello, thank you, the idea is to put the insulation on the inside between the beam and the rockwool beam. so unfortunately the small beams will not be seen... the budget does not allow us to do it in another way... greetings!!

Bonjour, au cas où le conduit de cheminée serait trop étroit, une solution a été trouvé par un couple qui rénove une grande maison.
