Thank you for this update. Most homeowners in the states are afraid of stucco exteriors because of fear or crumbling or delaminating. I love stucco exteriors and will say it takes European craftsmen to do the best stucco work. You have been doing it for generations. A craft that has been taught father to son. The bathroom so far is my favorite room you built. What a project!!!!! The garden turned out so productive. Love all the raised beds. I can’t get the French cheese here they don’t allow non pasteurized cheese in the US.I could have it shipped but it’s about 100 bucks for a small amount ha I’ll eat Brie. Ha Happy Sunday! You two are amazing. Achieved so much. But I would take a break from building now and recap by way of decorating the small room with linen on the bed and a soft chair and side table. Mirror and pictures. THEN take out all the grass (actually weeds) In the garden after you have planned all of the beds ... put plastic down and gravel. Plant tall and thin against the fences to hide your neighbours dirty walls. Fix chicken coup and put outdoor furniture. Would look totally amazing and very Meditteranean. I M O.

I just came across your channel a few days ago and I've been binge watching the progress on your project. Kudos to you two for your determination and efforts! Have really enjoyed all of your episodes. My wife and I are retiring and moving from Canada to central Portugal later this year. I find some European construction practices most certainly different from what we do here. We'll be purchasing an older home and renovating as well. One thing that I do have some concerns about is in regards to personal safety. I notice that sometimes you wear personal protective equipment and sometimes you don't. i.e.: goggles/safety glasses, masks, ear protection, etc.. I don't mean to tell you what to do but speaking from personal experience for myself and with other people that I know from years gone by, this could catch up with you later in life. I would just like to see you two taking better care of yourselves when operating machinery, tools and in certain conditions all the time. Just try to be more conscious of it if you can.
