Thanks for this video which illustrates 3 things about tackling: 1) you can make a huge hit and still wrap (Fiji vs Portugal the best example) 2) if you don’t wrap and turn the ball carrier you probably won’t succeed (Quins vs sharks) 3) if u get your head in front of the ball carrier u risk getting knocked out (Ireland vs SA, French top league) Btw that no arms hit on the kicking player was a red card easy

@@tsherwood2112 I think he's talking about 0:56 (it's filmed on a potato so it's very had to tell their age) when he straight up knocked the guy out, you can see him doing that stiff armed twitching thing people sometimes do when people are sent to another dimension. Straight shoulder to head, he does kiiiinda try and wrap but it's a poor attempt and didn't even try and go lower or anything

@@tsherwood2112 they kinda look like lads, maybe 17-19 or something hard to tell with the video quality but yeah absolutely atrocious technique (or lack there of) you can tell by how he went into that tackle that's what he likes to do, hurt people. yeah he vaguely swings his arms around but isn't bothered at all that he fails to wrap to just gets up and leaves him (someone down in the comments who claims to be their teammate says they got a concussion and torn ACL)

American football has nothing on rugby i feel. Yeah im an american aswell. I bearly played but loved it. Unfortunately it wasnt too unpopular at my high school we had to make a club and our teams were made of middle school and high school against full high school teams so we ate shit but we let them know whats up still. I literally was tackling gettin up tackling gettin up tackling. Till the point id damn near be throwing up on the field. F* first time i dislocated my finger and had to run off for a little bit so my coaches could reset it... they looked at my finger then at me haha and he tried several times to set it back and finally got reset then i closed my hand a couple times and said send me in coach. Later my finger swelled so bad 😂. Had to play a good amount with a puffy finger haha didnt matter too much that team i had beef with because one person broke my nose from that school playing backyard american football. Played against a team they took less players so they could play with the older kids to younger and one said he never played football before and come to find out later he was varsity or jv highschool when we were all in 7th grade😂 our balls bearly even dropped. playing against 10th and 11th grades. F* that guy i played like i came for blood against that team.
