I make egg noodles and stir them in brown butter till all are covered, then I sprinkle bread crumbs on them. Continue till all are covered.

We were just up in Lancaster this week and decided to try Dienner’s, because everything you showed us looked so good!! It was our first time there and it did not disappoint! @@vafunseekers Sounds great. We were running late, so we went to the Casey Jones restaurant located at the Red Caboose Motel. We also had breakfast included in the holiday inn. So we didn’t venture out for breakfast. Although I wanted to. Next year we will go to Dienner’s.

Looks like another winner. My grandmother in South Carolina used to call it "cooked butter". She added it to all sorts of things! She used to say that you have to be patient with it. You have to cook it "enough" without overcooking it. Or worse yet, burning it! I like the buffet videos. I'd just finished supper before watching this. Another good video. God Bless!

Sounds like your grandmother was a great cook. We enjoy going to Dienner's. It's not as big as some buffets but it has delicious food and a nice selection. But that brown butter noodles are the best I've had in Lancaster! Yum! God Bless!

Cindy really loved those noodles. I thought it was just a spice they had put on the noodles until our waitress told us how they were fixed. This was a very nice place and the owner, and our waitress were very friendly and polite. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Have a blessed day!

Boy, that buffet looked absolutely great! Our one and only experience there was not the best, but will definitely give it another try if and when we get back to Lancaster. Their food choices were off the chain! Will definitely have to try those buttered noodles. Thanks for sharing and helping to change my mind about this place. Glad to see you mentioned Dutch Haven; they have the best shoofly pie anywhere!! Again, thanks for the great video and food review!

Hey I'm from prince george va but my dad's family lives up there we were just their last week and went to the hay loft pretzels and ice cream in Lancaster PA it's Amish and Mennonite run and they are all volunteers for a boys club the only person who is paid is the manager would be a cool place to review

We have only been there once and really had a good experience. Sorry to hear that your experience was not as good. Did you get the buffet or did you order off of the menu? Just curious. You are correct. It is believed that his skin would have been brown like Jewish men. It is also believed his eyes were brown and his hair was brown or black.
