@@junktimer I sold the car in 2018 to one of my friend.In the period the car was mine i had problem with heating sistem because the engine cooling sistem doesn t work very good and the engine heat so much and in time that affect the interior heating sistem.But in rest the car start so easy at -20 degrees celsius if the glowplugs are all in good conditon and the injection pomp don t have fuel leakeage.

Anyone know how much you can turn up the injection pump on a 1.6 TD and have it not run away? Currently rebuilding one and want some more power and a bit of smoke as all it will be used for is shows.

A quarter to half (90, 180 degrees) more than stock is safe. Mine was a full 360 degrees more and still ran for years with some smoking

Why do most of them shake so violently, bad engine mounts or loose dash bolts?

Don't know. The only time mine didn't shake, was when the front engine mount came loose 🙃
