Man I love the sound of a good turbo diesel. Wish there was more I could do to my first gen vw touareg tdi to make it more powerful and soundgasmic. All I could really do is upgrade the turbo and flash tune. With that said I bet my touareg tdi would have come in first 🤪

Hi Kevin! Usually we race on a tractor pulling track. Meaning we only have about 400’ to work with, so we race 200’ and then have 200’ to stop. For this field race we kept it consistent with our other races.

Like 1/24h. It is 200 feet. Most of these are run in truck pulling tracks that are 400 feet. And they need a shutdown area. So that is the reason. They are used to it.

It would get really dangerous if it was longer. Many of these trucks are pushing 600-1200 hp to the tire. After 70mph or so they really come on hard and would be losing control. It's actually quite a rush, but it looks like racing to the 60 ft to a track racer.

200 feet and it is custom built lights by the Generation Motorsports folks. It is at current not for sale. As soon as pre stage it goes yellow and the half second to green. They can adjust it to fine tune it however they choose.

Most of these events take place on a pulling track which is usually only 400 foot long. That space these guys ran is 200 foot. I have filmed sand drags that had an 1/8th of a mile run off that was only 300 foot. This still takes excellent reaction time and doesn’t need to get into the trucks top end. How long would you like to see?

WWPTV I wasn’t criticizing, usually all the drag races I have seen are 1/8 or 1/4 mile. I just thought there was a specific reason behind the distance. They have drags in my area that are 60’, lots of fun for the drivers but zero to watch on film. I have been watching your videos for a while and subbed, lots of effort and a pro job!!!!
