I hauled petroleum products for over 25 years and never loaded or unloaded without wearing the proper petroleum proof gloves. It was bad enough getting a drip of diesel on your skin that it would sink right in if not washed off quick enough and even then you smelled it the rest of the day. This guy should refuse to do this job without them

They are provided everything. But people here think it isnt a hazard unless it harms you right away. Most of the traffic problems are also the same. People tend to get careless and just want to get away with their priority even at the expense of his or other's safety. Although I dont generaluze everybody into this category, by there are atleast 40% of Indians with this attitude.

Another aspect apart from carelessness is the climate. People forget that in India Summers can as harsh as 50 °C whereas in the Western world we hardly see such rise in temperature because of which most people give comfort first priority rather than safety as it very difficult to work with industrial safety glove in peak of summers in India.

Leakage by design. In large filling stations the total leakage may run into thousands of litres. The beneficiaries may be truck and taxi operators who get fuel at less than market rates and staff of the railways who pocket the money.

Good to see. But there should be a good system in filling the fuel without spilling, even a drop, and the guys should have proper training in doing such works. There should be fire extinguishers nearby as a precaution. It is not filling fuel like small vehicles.

Abhi koi debate karne ayega ki kaise nahi chalta to bata du desh chalta hai amir logo ke paiso se, ha sunne Mai kadwa lag sakta hai lekin yehi sach hai. For example if u earn 5-7.5LPA you have to give 10% of your salary to government as tax. 12.5-15>LPA 30% tax. Koi koi bada business man crore mai tax pay karta hai. Aur yehi nahi aap jo indirect tax ka baat kar rahe hai wo vi dena padta hai unko. sirf yehi nahi, as we all know that India mai agriculture pe sabse jyada log dependent hai. Kya apko pata hai agriculture me india mai 1 rupees ka vi tax nahi lagta. Abhi aap bolenge kishan kama kaha rahe hai, koi koi kishan to crore mai kamata hai vai usko to tax dena chahiye na lekin nahi hum india mai mante hai ki kishan matlab garib admi 🤣. Lekin jo vi scheme aata hai wo sirf so called middle class or garib logo ke liye. To agli bar agar koi chutiya bole mera indirect tax se desh chal raha hai wo ho sakta hai wo galat hai.

In many countries dye is added to indicate the intended use, and therefore the tax or customs level which is paid. If that's not required, it won't be done. Since India's railways are nationalised it would be pointless to tax their fuel. And I don't know of a diesel loco that would require 6000 litres or gallons of water. Probably litres.

Not water In the states it depends on what additives are in it for the color change and also #1 diesel is the same as kerosene and if it’s clear it’s for use in kerosene heaters due to a minimal amount of wax that’s added to it so it doesn’t smoke
