I would suggest Banks offering their air flow products in a black finish that matches the factory parts. It would make it less obvious when getting warranty work done.

You guys really gotta start lawyering up when these GED service managers at the stealerships start talking out of their behind with these threats of voided warranties. It is closed- cut and dry case law these practices are illegal. I recently won a case against a Very Well known company (hint) claiming the fuel I was using grenaded their diesel injection pumps, lines, and injectors and voided my extended powertrain warranty. They claimed I "filled my car with gasoline" with no evidence and when challenged, I had years of receipts with mileage matching fillups to prove their fallacy.

Maguson Moss law act requires manufacturers to prove in writing the aftermarket part you installed has caused the failure. 99.9% of the time they can't so warranty repair is completed. So next time a dealer says ur part caused it and we can't warranty it, say 2 words to them, MAGUSON MOSS

I don’t believe DuramaxTuner makes the intake horn, they just make the anti-surge ring which is a fix that pairs with all those open flange intake horns, such as the WC Fab model they promote and sell as a package. 7:50

@@jarredgallaher2643 no, you want block to radiate heat out of engine, but you dont want your intake to suck that heat into your intake air.

@V8Lenny the intake is in the engine bay, so the air heated up by the block will be sucked into the intake filter. The ram air intake is physically mated to the block/manifold anyway, so since they're both metal it's actually a net gain because of the increase in flow. Math class is important kids! You sound exactly like the comments in the "Ram-Bro" Banks video.

When you can show me proof with dynos of 3 other brands' products, and have a detailed breakdown of why Banks "sucks" then you can have the internet brownie points. This is a fair ask because Banks does this on their website and these data sheets are from a separate third party company. You have no proof for what you're saying, just you're neighbor whose married to his cousin saying this to you over beers at the cuck nightclub.
