Bone stock 05 cummins. With original cp3 from factory. 419k miles. Just started acting up. Don’t know how much longer it’ll last.

If you pay the money for this quality pump, I hope you use a good 2 micron filter and a quality fuel additive. And it will last a lot of dependable miles.

Considering going with DDP’s 25% overs. Truck has a S364.5/.91 Iron Horn kit. 124k miles (~10k on turbo kit) w/ no issues to date. - Do I NEED an upgraded CP3 and/or lift pump?..

I have heard from another cp3 shop that they use cheap $10 stroker shafts in these and that’s what fails on them. Anyone else hear this. I’m on the fence because of this and may just go with another option.

Will putting a 10mm stroker pump on my lb7 help with low pressure check engine warning? Stock injectors with a tune. Standard transmission. Or is it a pain in the but with drivability? Smoke down low rpms with the Standard trans.

@@DieselPowerProducts not yet. Im torn between the in tank oem style DUAL lift pump. Or a frame mounted pump. I like the integration of the in tank pump. But its more expensive.

I would get a lift pump on there ASAP before you start upgrading your injection pump. The Fleece In-Tank pumps have been selling and working GREAT for us.

@@DieselPowerProducts Thanks for the advice. I guess i should have been more direct. Assuming that i have adequate flow and pressure to the cp3. Hows the drivability of a 10mm pump? Is it hard to prevent being to rich down in the lower rpms with a standard transmission? Will the oem cp3 and stock injectors provide enough to reach the limits of a stock lb7 turbo? My pump has over 200k on it. I considered upgrading cp3 before it takes a dump on me.
