It's hard to say but my favorite clip in this video is probably the Hilton Internal Scenic Elevators you took from 1993. I also loved watching the videos from 2000. AWESOME VIDEO!!! You and I really have many elevator-related common things in our past. I was also like "Wow" upon riding an elevator, got afraid from when I was 12 and got over it completly once I saw your video of being stuck in the market parking garage elevator back in ~2009, I guess, wich helped me ALOT to recover my interests and then I started to film myself in 2010. :) btw. COgratulations and you're welcome! :)

Good stuff man!! I really enjoy your material. I was in college when you were getting started but I had the same fear/fascination progression you had... just 10 years prior. I had reams of film photos of elevators that I can no longer find. When I was 10, my Uncle Roy took me on the Westin Bonaventure's amazing 12 glass elevators when we visited them is Los Angeles... I've been fascinated ever since. (You'd love the Bonaventure if you get to LA.). The major bldgs. like US Bank Tower & Aon Center are now inaccessible post 9/11 but I rode the heck out of them before that... but LA has tons of others. Anyway... enough babble. Keep up the great work and thanks you for doing this

Andrew, here is my story on how I started to film elevators. Back when I was 2 or 3 years old, I used to ride the elevator at the JcPenney store at the Marketplace Mall in Rochester,NY. I was always trying to figure out exactly what that was and how it worked. I always liked riding elevators wherever we went. But just like you, for a couple of years, I was afraid of elevators as well. When we got in the elevator at some building in Monroeville,PA, I was afraid we would get stuck in there. So I was afraid of that elevator. It wasn't till May of 2012, when we went to the Strong National Museum of Play, one of my favorite places in the world, I got to film the elevator for the first time( I will soon post it for you). I hope that you keep uploading and keep filming some awesome elevators. Yours truly, Alexander Bozek

Cool story. Funny thing is that we have a similar history with this elevator fixation, it seems. I can't remember what first got me interested, but I honestly think that fear was a partial motivator. As a kid, there was a period where I was deathly afraid of them and would not step in one to save my life. Yet at the same time, I was fascinated by them. Eventually, I got over that fear and started riding them for the fun of it. I didn't start filming until a few years ago on my other channel (GiggleBlaggle, which is now focused on toy reviews). Then I made this one just last year and it has been really fun posting videos for everyone, especially since I live in Northern Minnesota and there are only a few elevator enthusiasts that I know of from around here. I started filming after discovering gluse on KZbin, then other users such as yourself. At first I thought it was weird making videos like that, and I might have left a few comments that I now regret. But then I realized how interesting it actually was, despite the fact that the hobby sort of breaks social norms (you know, with people giving you funny looks and whatnot). Nobody on KZbin had the opportunity to see the unique elevators in my town, so I decided to film some of them. It turned out to be a lot of fun! You mention in this video that you have Aspergers, and that as a result, you focus on certain things (ex. elevators). I've never been diagnosed with it, but I was diagnosed with something called selective mutism as a child. I sometimes wonder if I actually have Aspergers in some degree, because my interests are also very focused and selective. I like music (I'm a banjo player), bridges, elevators, weather, video games, movies, and toys (particularly Hot Wheels). I find it difficult sometimes to try new things as I tend towards the things I'm already attached to. So it's just interesting to see how our way of doing things seems to be quite similar, and we have a connection with this elevator thing. Anyway, congrats on your super high view accomplishment and anniversary. It's fun to follow you here, and I hope that you have the best of luck going forward.

Wow what an awesome life movie. Congrats on your outstanding milestone. You better keep those videos coming because you said if we keep watching, you will keep filming. You know we will keep watching for the many years to come. Like others have shared, I too have loved them since a child. My first was the Monty G&P in Dillards North Little Rock. I too had a few years of being afraid after a Westy at the Excelsior in Little Rock decided not to move once and it scared me to death. It did take a few years but like you I conquered my fear and was back at it. I so wished I would have filmed them as well back then. Take care Dieselducy and God Bless!

This the story on how I started my elevator photography, Back in the early to mid 2017, My mom told me that Amy and Michael are getting married on Oct 6th. So we went to the Hampton Inn at the Meadowlands of NJ. On the morning of Oct 6th, I took out my phone and filmed the hotel with the elevator, and that was my very first elevator i filmed, witch is my beginning of my elevator photography. And that was my story.
