Probably the most inspiring scenery and cinematography I've seen on any YT video! Being a kid at heart despite the 67yrs I really appreciate your focus on the locomotives (the best part). And the catch of the CP throw back unit w the KCS in the same consist made my day. I look forward to seeing a lot of KCS/CP mixed consists in the future and hope CP keeps the KCS paint scheme at least on the US based locos. Thanks again, Great Job, Keep up the Awesome Videos. Bob

@@TracksideTyson your very welcome. Also did you hear about the cp and kcs officially becoming one railway? The whole railway is called CPKC and connects Vancouver and Saint Johns, NB all the way down to Mexico city

More amazing footage from you and a full watch from me. I was blown away by the lashups and the scenery. I'm glad that you're getting some KCS units out your way as well for a bit of extra colour in the lashups.
@TracksideTyson3 жыл бұрын
Yes extra colour, I've also noticed CP units have been all over CN trains lately, including UP's, BNSF and possibly other foreign power...it all makes for a great time! - Thanks for the support guys! stay safe.

Wow !! Just spectacular Tyson !! One of the best mountain railroading videos that I have viewed. It truly brings home the challenges of building the CP line. And super triplet of CP liveries ! Did you say that this was at Oregon BC ? Back in the late 1700's when intrepid Scotsmen named Douglas, Fraser and Thompson explored western Canada the whole of the west coast, including what is now called California, was called Oregon. James.
@TracksideTyson3 жыл бұрын
I truly appreciate the props, yes you are right about the challenges of railroading in the canyon. The location I mentioned is at Cisco Bridges and is called Oregon Jack now. Thanks for watching and commenting James.

This location is very close to "Spences Bridge, British Columbia". If you look up the "Thompson Canyon" you will see that the Canyon is kind of like the desert, same for Ashcroft and Kamloops, BC. Thanks for watching and your curiosity! questions are always welcome.
@bradjames67483 жыл бұрын
This part of British Columbia is the northernmost finger of the Sonoran desert and has the rattlesnakes and scorpions to prove it......in the summer at least and the mountains are the cascade and coast ranges
