Awesome video. It’s so important for people suffering with this condition to really understand the “why” behind how they got there and what to do. I find that without the “why” people really tend to backslide and get led astray by good sounding, but unsupported arguments. Thanks Clint! Your doing Gods work! 😁🙏🏼

I am 100lbs overweight and the dr. prescribed Meloxicam for the arthritis pain. I don't want to keep taking meds. I started intermittent water fasting. I am not hungry as much and my joints feel so much better. I am on my feet the entire shift at work so I would come home on the verge of tears from pain. I need to stop eating sugar, processed foods, meat and dairy. I am starting to eat beans, no salt, and veggies and fruit. Cherries and watermelon are my favs.

Thank you so much for giving us all hope and sharing all this research! Are there any tests for before and after the program to see the effects from a physical point of view eg: pre/pro/post biotics in the gut, amounts of good and bad bacteria, omega 6:3 ratio levels? Also what blood test results can I ask the doctors to be looking at to see if I can reduce my drugs? Presumably the inflammatory markers would be reduced with the drugs (once they find the right fit for me) and so they wouldn’t know if it was the gut microbiome or the drugs that were having the good effects and would therefore keep me on the drugs.

This was excellent! Two reasons: 1. My approach was, "just tell me what to do and save the science." I see now why this was a mistake. Understanding the "why" behind science and physiology make it much easier to pass on the salad dressing and such. 2. The comparison with other diets and approaches to show why they only get us so far. Thanks so much for your commitment to providing free content. Burning question: Does this mean post-dysbiosis Clint can eat avocados?
@RheumatoidSolutions11 ай бұрын
Absolutely. But for additional saturated fats (mostly for some extra calories and fattening our my face a little) I prefer nuts - there are some tremendous antioxidants in pistachios especially. But for folks reading this - you have to graduate to higher fat foods via the Reintroduction Guide don't start with them

Thank you for the informative video. I can use more improvement in my seronegative RA. I have tried tried a green leafy diet for days multiple times during the course of my disease of 20 years and my stomach can not handle raw foods. I have been on a whole food plant based diet for as long as I can remember, with no sugar, red meat etc., and daily salads. Do soups help if one cannot digest a large quantity of daily vegies?

My BMI suggests, that I shouldn't be fasting for 7 days. I don't carry enough fat on my body and have low blood sugar, low blood pressure as well. I exercise regularly, I also eat pretty clean, prioritizing meat proteins, greens and berries. My case is specific since I am not starting from a highly inflammatory diet. But unfortunately, because of my food intolerances, I cannot digest Beans, Legumes, and therefore have tried vegan and flexitarian diets before (over a couple years) and these diets made me even more weak, lethargic and full of stomach upsets and intestinal trapped gas. Once I switched back onto animal proteins, a lot of my gut issues cleared. Can you dig into what specifically people who are generally pretty healthy can do, and any advice for omnivores?

This is great but you are missing a major benefit. This diet is almost identical to what Dr Esselstyn recommends for curing major heart issues except he adds leafy green vegetables 5-7 times a day. I have 5 stents and could barely exercise and went on his diet and I improved dramatically and now can exercise hard. I then started to relax my diet and subsequently have developed RA. I’m going back on the full diet to see if that will help.

why faulty tight junctions? isn't it obviously a dehydration (a shrinking) or stiffness (inability to stretch) of cells? alcohol, coffee, cooked and dry served foods, all adds to dehydration. salt can cause cellular dehydration while accumulating extracellular water. potassium eliminates excess salt so helps to restore proper cell hydration. but a total salt deficit also causes dehydration. processed food causes constipation which stretches the colon which would be a problem if the tight junctions are not elastic enough to stretch and stay just as tight. its really hard to believe that we evolutionary depend on a layer of microbes, though its plausible they may add some protection AFTER tight junctions are already broken. in the picture 28:00 tight junctions are shown as about a 100 times as thick as that mucus layer. they are obviously designed to filter stuff. lack of omega 3 breaks tissues. omega 6 excess may render it more rigid long term. i believe incorrect fertilization of soils renders many whole food diets deficient.

Go to different carnivore yt channels and read the thousands of comments talking about how they are healed from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Hardly any comments of the same on vegan channels. Many meat eaters also smoke, drink and are obese. They forget that part in the study. Not All not all not all Do what works for you. If you get better, you know you’re doing the right thing.

Extraordinarily inaccurate carnivore claims about 'healing RA' from eating like wild animal. We've had 89,000 emails from RA patients to our helpdesk in 11 years and nobody has made that claim. Some 'felt a lot better' and then relapse with with the need for antacids, dangerous health consequences, or abort since it's unsustainable. We see the 'I've done this and now I'm in a nightmare' versions of the carnivore crowd, who don't post on social...The wild animal diet isn't a human diet and never will be. But I appreciate you being here and wanting to learn the science and be inspired to get better health get out of pain. Watch our other videos (and my other channel @paddisonprogram) for 350+ RA success stories that don't involve eating dangerously. There is hope, it's natural, and it's safe 🌈

Most people with leaky gut cant do plant based. Ive never heard of healign the gut with just plants. Also, most people with leaky gut have parasites and candida. Plants alone is not enough to satiate a person. Sorry, i cant be on board with just plants. I hope your information helps someone but its not sustainable and cwrtainly does not satiate. Ive never heard of plants alone to heal the gut. I think GAPS can be beneficial for most.

I think you are correct! I came to this video because THE TITLE and I'm always seeking further knowledge. I used to eat what is considered very healthy whole foods, mostly plant based. Since RA hit, I quit ALL grains/bread/sugar/nuts/seeds/seed oils/high oxalate foods/legumes before I found relief...what you said rings TRUE. I think my OLD way of eating is the culprit, I grew a big beautiful organic garden, used coconut and olive oil, only ate seed oils when I got french fries at a restaurant. When RA hit I searched high and low for solutions and found the carnivore community had solutions. Not perfect, but very helpful, I'm still open to options that work...that's why I'm here. Can't go back to PB as that caused leaky gut to begin with as far as I can tell.

Thank you so much for sharing an amazing information. I have RA, i went to a senior rheumatologist in my city and he injected me without telling me what it was and gave me the drugs Etoricoxib and Omeprazole the next day my whole body was swollen and I can't eat because of nausea and my stomach so painful. I went to the hospital to change a rheumatologist, he gave me 4 mg of methylprednisolone (take 2 times a day), suclarfate, 1 mg of folic acid and bone vitamins, while taking the medicine I had no appetite, I forced myself to eat even a little, every day I experienced fever, fatigue and dizziness, 2 weeks later I came back and there was no solution the doctor gave me the same prescription. I visited another rheumatologist, the last doctor gave me the drug triamcinolone 4 mg (take 8 mg/day), suclarfate (take 45 ml/day), hydroxychloroquine, rheu trex (my last dosage 12.5 mg/week), omeprazole (take 3 times a day) and folic acid 10 mg/week and 1 month later my lab results are getting worse my ESR before medication 54 after that 75 and my last 102 my CRP too high. I'm 29 years old, my both knees are swollen for 3 years I don't know how to remove fluid on my knees and I lost hope maybe I won't be able to get married and have children but I would try whole foods plant based diet.
