Rolf, Michael and Detlef were hired as session singers for the Modern Talking project 9/1984-10/1987 originally then later from 3/1998 to 5/2000 to complete some additional albums due to DB and TA reuniting.Their role for the tracks was created to produce a high pitched sound that sounded like the Bee Gees but in a German European style. Luis R. the co-producer of MT project found them in Germany and asked them to come in for a demo during mid 1984 to their Hamburg studio. Dieter already had 2 tracks ready to go for the MT project but was looking for the right lead singer. Dieter asked Luis who do you think could match the voice for these tracks? Luis said Weidung aka TA would sound perfect. TA already had a single released by DB earlier so Luis was the key to match the music with the voice. That is how the MT project came alive in the fall of 1984. It was a magical sound just like ABBA, Boney M, Arabesque, etc but in a new modern style and that is called music for eternity! This is music that can be listened to even in 50 years from now!! That is why these talented background singers were highly appreciate it for their roles in this project. Unfortunately back then it was hard to progress and succeed as musicians. During the recording sessions in the studio only SIB were present to perform their part (chorus voices) and TA separately (lead voice) to perform his part. Dieter performed his part separately and added his vocals as he felt it fit for all MT tracks for instance the angels sing in NY City, etc. Luis R. recorded DB's vocals and mixed it into the tracks. As their 1st single was released and reached the tops is a short period of time DB was now in full gears to produce more and more tracks, however back then the norm was 10 tracks max per album. Here is the truth about MT project the lead voice will always be TA's the choir always SIB s and the music always DB. They each had a role in the music that we all love for eternity Modern Talking. Fans stop making these absurd assumptions and criticism about these wonderful talented musicians!! Most of you know nothing about how things went down back then about these projects except for reading misleading blogs and webpages written by misleading people without proper knowledge about MT, BS, and other projects. Enjoy what was given to you and cherish the music that was produced! Please understand that since all these musicians were part of the original MT tracks they each sound differently on their own (separately) as they were all part of these projects. There were additional back vocals for the Modern Talking project such as Birgeis Corleis and for the Blue System project the additional voices belong to Tuti Kanta (Layla, Only with you), Marion Schwaiger (Déjà vu, etc), Audrey Mountang and Madeleine Lang.as well as Rolf Kohler. The main vocals were by Dieter Bohlen,the back vocals and for some of the tracks the 2nd vocals were by Rolf Kohler.

Soy un gran fanático desde mi adolescencia de modern talking realmente unos monstruos musicalmente en composición e interpretación y me entristeció su separación en 2003 y me hubiese gustado haberlos visto cantar en vivo cosa que no creo que ocurra pero tengo que reconocer que dieter canta horrible con una voz difonica y no se entiende lo que dice realmente la voz del grupo es Thomás cien por ciento no en vano cantaba todos los temas de los discos solo existe un tema del primer álbum cantado por dieter y no se parece realmente al estilo modern talking lo de el es la composición y la guitarra aunque hace poco me decepcione saber que en los estribillos que el canta hace lips sinc y son las voces de cuatro cantantes anónimos las que se escuchan uno de los cuales le hizo juicio a dieter por engaño y estafa realmente lamentable

Там вообще не понять ,кто и что поет. Позорище. Этого трио бэк вакала нет.они с дитером больше не работают.без рудольфа не тот звук,так как он ему помогал петь ,кажется что один поет,а нет,ему помогает рудольф. Жаль рудольфа,что не успел сам прославится.какой набор голосов у них был. В группе все должно быть горманично,что и было у них. Жаль,что деньги их рассорил.
