Wunderbar.... jede Phrase Wunderbar bis zum Ende gesungen, dazu das engagierte und schwungvoll-tänzerische Singen. Wer es schafft, junge Menschen zu solch freudvollem Musizieren zu motivieren, hat verstanden, worum es beim Chorsingen geht. Chapeau, Herr Böhme!!!

Thank you for sharing this video of perhaps the finest choir in the world. For me at least, it the first documentary evidence I have seen and heard that the choir is in good hands as the Böhme era unfolds. I do hope that this is the first of many videos that you share with those of us who treasure the musical excellence of the Windbacher Knabenchor but are unable to hear the choir in person.

Yes, the Böhme era is getting off to a great start! I look forward to hearing more Renaissance polyphony from Windsbacher, as that's one of Böhme's special interests. And why oh why can't the Windsbacher field soloists from their ranks when they sing Bach? Bach cantatas are simply transformed when they are performed by the singers Bach had in mind. Anyway, much gratitude for these brilliant, spirited performances.

⁠@@ronaldjohnson9890I do agree with the comments that the Soprano and Alto parts should be covered by the choir’s own boys when you have a choir as good as this. I travelled to Germany a few years ago now to hear this, sung by the TKC with one of their “old boys”, Christian Immler singing the Bass. A fantastic recital, which these boys are capable of producing.
