Probably more to hear your playing now that I think about it. That said I don’t get these mini heads. You can’t gig with it, it’s not as versatile as having the pedal version & is more expensive. Maybe they’re not made for me but as someone who has a home studio & only does the occasional small gig I’m not sure who it is made for if not for me? Didn’t care for the tone either & I generally like Diezels. To be fair I didn’t like the mini Friedman & they make some of the best sounding amps available now. I'm curious, are you using pre-existing material for your intros, or just writing whatever the gear inspires you to write? Or perhaps a combination? Ps. This thing sounds absurd. I'd have a hard time believing that this sound was being produced by this little amp, without prior knowledge of it in a studio! I'd struggle not to laugh! Having said that, this thing is no joke! ✌
@PeteThorn3 жыл бұрын
I write everything pretty much on the spot, when I plug in the equipment. Usually it comes pretty fast I just try and get inspired by the sound and then write something appropriate for what I hear. Sometimes I’ll start with a drum part/groove and then write a riff that grooves/locks with it, which is what I did with this piece.

@@Baileyriffs totally agree with you, as we all have differing taste anyway. This Diezel sounds an awful lot like the Hughes and Kettner Spirit series boxes. I’m not a fan of the fizz sounds they have. I agree that there is a tonal variety of the Friedman in various reviews, but one thing I hear in all of them is that they sound refined and thick like a full sized amp, vs the Diezel which sounds thinner, smaller, and fizzier in all of the reviews over the past 2 weeks. It takes far more post processing it seems. I think I’m going with the Friedman pedal, which is the same as the mini amp just without a power amp. Hope you like whatever you decide on! Cheers 🍻
