Conrad Bain might have been the inspiration for Undercover Boss.

Drummond almost blew his cover with that “I had sherry last night” 😂 (At that time sherry was seen as a wine preferred usually by more affluent people) Luckily that guy thought he was talking about a woman. 🤣

Yes! I knew that I had seen this Actor many times. In 1972, Jack Riley joined the cast of the popular sitcom "The Bob Newhart Show" (CBS, 1972-1978) as the comically dour Elliot Carlin. He played the character throughout the show's six-year run. Sorry 4 the Diatribes! Cheers! 🇨🇦🍺🇨🇦🍺🇨🇦

This shows to me how much of a Professional Actor Conrad Bains really was! Dressed like this, with the moustache, he could walk by me on the street & I wouldn't even notice!?? Funny episode. I watched this growing up, but can't remember the details of the episodes other than the water balloon one. Can anyone tell me what he was looking for here? And is that the same Actor that played a PI on another episode? He reminds me of one of Bob Newhart's Psychology patients? The mean one.😡 Thanks 4 Listening! Cheers!🇨🇦🍺🇨🇦🍺🇨🇦
