That is what they are now promoting is black people need sunscreen. Sunscreen blocks vital production of natural Vitamin D from the sun of the skin of black people. Everyone needs some exposure of natural sun derived Vitanin D. It also helps bones. I don't need sunscreen. Video here on You Tube that shows what white people and other very light people look like under ultra violet light using sunscreen. They look under the ultra violet light and their skin looks like a dark skin melanated black person to the sun. Sun kissed melanated skin. Nothing like it.

I looked like a teenager until the age of 51. I was carded everywhere I went, and if I tried to go into a club, buy cigarettes for dad or buy liquor! I would be told it was confusing because the young women look old and the older women younger! It was tough being in business because customers would ask for ID because they thought I was 15 years old. At 67, I look like Im in my 40s! My great aunt told me at the age of 52 that I finally looked like a woman! My secret is that I started taking a high mineral vitamin regime with self developed skin care products and stringent workouts in my teens and never stopped even when I partied hardy on a day and night basis! Oh! I still don't have wrinkles! WW my age look horrible! When they find out my age; their jaws drop and I say but you're superior remember!

I mean its not a rule but black and Asians have certain benefits when it comes to our skin and certain disadvantages too. There are also a lot of white people who go into the sun WAY TOO MUCH, and they werent build for any sun. Asians also stay out of the sun and have better skin care, more fat in the face ( on average) so obviously that would be beneficial when aging. Black people tend to have more oily skin and the melanin helps to hide a lot of issues. Asians tend to have stronger hair on average, hence the whole world uses their hair. But black skin gets dark spots more easily, also keloids are more of an issue for melanated people The white people jumping to call this racist arent used to having negative things connected to being white lol. There are white women who age well, genetics and care.. We all have benefits and negatives to the group we belong to and we are individuals, so no rule is absolute.

So not all black people age well I was having this conversation with my coworker…. I’m 29 and I get talked to like a child by women who are 35 but they look much much older than me. I left have to remind them they are only a couple years older than me….Because they live hard lives they think I’m a kid and it’s a lie that white women don’t hear they age bad, all my life I’ve heard it on TV even from white women in real life that they age like milk. But beauty is not just an outside thing you can be 40 wrinkle free and still be an old hag I got plenty at my job. Even tho I’m black I’m tired of this aged conversation you can be pretty but have a hideous spirit so who cares how you look ultimately? Too many try to get others to accept and like them. It never happens. Why are non-black people suddenly want this togetherness and we are one, and we are all human when bp been always treated different as outcasts. When in reality we live lives that don't intersect like that. Even interracial marriages have not done anything to promote total equality. So why try anymore.

It's not just a white or black thing. It's genetics, lifestyle choices, taking care of yourself. Having skincare regimens, exercising, food intake, plenty of water, sunscreen, knowing your skin as far as going to a dermatologist. It's a lot of factors to stay looking young. Minus these women out here thinking it's ok getting all this surgery Botox and etc which is extra chemicals in your body. ***I'm sorry love, YOU having surgery botox or anything injecting in your body to make you look young is not genetics😂 I used to love hearing the saying "black don't crack". But it's not just that, it's more a long the lines of you don't do drugs and have bad habits. Still moisturized, using sunscreen/or makeup with it and etc. which are the basic of taking care of your skin and looking good.❤

No sunscreen for me. That blocks our melanin from absorbing sun derived natural Vitamin C that is needed for our skin. Melanin is valuable and helps with premature aging. Totally agree! It's a lot more than just your skin color and how much melanin you have. I like the saying black don't crack too but that's not always the case. I know black people who don't take care of their skin (drink enough water, wear sunscreen, stay away from stress and strife, etc) and it shows. They look tired and worn out and much older. I also know some white people that have a good skin regimen and take care of themselves and they look younger and really good.

Let's get something straight; that lady that got "humbled" and looks older for her age is suffering the consequences for being in the sun and smoking! It has nothing do with being white. I do agree that white people age differently than black people. But let's call what it is; she never took care of herself. I mean she literally admits to never having or following a skin care routine. I'm sorry but you can't age gracefully and get "results" if you refuse to do the work. To anyone reading this regardless of color, please look after yourself! Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and avoid smoking and drinking.
