+Ahamed Fayaz. Autosar is not a tool. Its a concept. AUTOSAR related tools are very costly. Its not that easy like compilers or simulators. If you are working in a automotive electronics based company you will get a chance to work on it.

Autosar- Automotive open system architecture For example: If BMW is giving some part of software development for its ABS ECU functionality to company-A, there will be some hidden information between both of them. Company-A should develop its software according to AUTOSAR. It means that, it will act like a common layer or virtual bus. If BMW is not satisfied with company -A it can give the same work to Company-B with same AUTOSAR Compliance. Without AUTOSAR it will be difficult for client and service provider. AUTOSAR will behave like a virtual bus between various functional modules in the ECU.
