Edo pikin has posted a MORBID COMEDY, this country is on a precipice, we are been colonized again, only this time not by force, but willingly. Years ago University of London students did clinical postings in OAU &Ibadan. Today they are not even upto standard for nigerian doctors. Nigeria has a population of over 215 million people, the largest in Africa. Among the West African countries, it had the second highest density of medical doctors as of 2020, which is, however, still very low compared to the actual need for such a populous nation. Government expenditure on health is considerably slimmer than what comes from private contributions, differing by over two thousand billion Nigerian naira. About three percent of Nigeria's GDP is invested in the health sector, considerably below the average spending on healthcare among OECD countries. Also, OECD member countries are mostly high-income countries, whereas Nigeria is an emerging economy and belongs to countries with lower middle income. Nigerians usually have to pay for medicine out of their own pocket. Nigeria is grappling with high levels of skilled health-care workers emigrating. The doctor-patient ratio in Nigeria stands at an alarming 1:9083, far from the recommended 1:600 ratio

I like the skit, BUT he was totally wrong about the brand talk. Pls a lot of people watch and believe u, so do ur research well before making skits. Two brands of same active ingredient(s) and same strength(mg) are the same drug. Irrespective of brand name. So if a pharmacists tells u we don’t have this, but we have another brand, it’s probably coz he knows it is d same active ingredient as d one u asked for.
