Very clear, thank you! I like how when you complete a reminder, Calendar moves it away, whereas when you complete a task, it stays in your schedule (both crossed off).

Why the best explained vid on this only got 4k views. Wild. Pacing a bit slow but content is top tier. Thanks, saved me a ton of time working this out myself

I stopped watching several videos which were confusing me. I watched yours until the end and it helped clear things up for me. Thank you.

Monica, really thorough video. I finally understand Tasks and Reminders and how to use them. Google Keep has always been a mystery. I'm going to search your videos in the hopes you have a more in-depth on about Google Keep.

Thank you for this great video. But I just wanted a bit of help clearing a confusion. If reminders are reminding you about Tasks or Events then can't I just set a reminder while creating that Task or Event? Having a separate thing called Reminder seems redundant in that sense

I prefer reminder notifications to be an actual sound vs only a visual reminder. Is there a way to have reminder notifications be a sound even though the phone's general notifications be set to vibrate?

Very nice explanation but you did not show us how to create List to align our Google Task activity to.

Question: Why would anyone create "tasks" or lists of things to do in Google Keep? Or, do those task and list of things (the check boxes in your video on some of the Google Keep notes), sync back to your Calendar?
@Ingrid-jx7iz2 жыл бұрын
They sync through Reminders. If you set a Reminder it will show on the Reminder Calendar. I think Keep is used for todos as well because at one point it was (arguably still is) more fully featured than Tasks, in that you can color code, tag, and associate notes with existing events, and view todos in a separate site (not just the sidebar) which isn’t available in Task. Keep reminders/todos also have the ability carry over to the next day if you don’t mark them as complete. But yeah if you use one for tasks you likely won’t use the other

Does google tasks move to the next day if you don't mark complete?
@MonicaIsabelMartinezGarcia2 жыл бұрын
No, only reminders automatically move to the next day
@andrewhughes28002 жыл бұрын
Sorry, thumbs down. I still don't know what a reminder in google keep "does". Puts something on the calendar? Sends email? Sends a text?
