All men are capable of loving a woman as a human being rather than a sex object, because all men have desires and all men have consciences. It is the man who hasn’t been taught what exactly love is that loves a woman only as a sex object. Those men just need to be fed, and it is impossible to feed them if you don’t believe they are capable of eating, if you don’t believe they are capable of loving a woman as a human being. If you want a man to love you as more than a sex object, then you have to treat him like he is capable of doing it, otherwise you are not capable of seeing some men as any more than an animal, which is clearly wrong because a man is a man: if one man is only capable of seeing a woman as a sex object, then all men are only capable of seeing women as sex objects, and, if one man is capable of loving a woman as a human being, then all men are capable of loving a woman as a human being. Everyone has the ability to do good and to do evil, and the fact that one does evil only proves that one is also capable of doing good and visa-versa, because you can only be held accountable for doing evil if you had the opportunity to do good instead.

@cathyandresiak Before you can help someone be better, you have to believe that they can get better. Every human wants joy. All you have to do to help these men change for the better is show them how it will bring them joy. You can’t do that unless you know them. You can’t know them unless you respect them. You can’t respect them unless you respect yourself. You can’t respect yourself unless you know yourself, and you can’t know yourself unless you know what love is. You say you know what love is? Then you know that love is self-sacrificial, patient, kind, not proud, honest, peaceful, gentle, hopeful, and faithful, amongst other things. Love does not give up. “it is how they are programmed.” If they were programmed, then they can be reprogrammed. If they want, then help them to want more: help them to want women for more than body parts because that is objectively more valuable to them. We all want the same thing: joy. Some people just don’t understand the best way to get joy. If they learned of a better way, then they’d be more than happy to change, but they can’t learn unless they are taught by someone who loves them. The Greeks have four words for love: Eros (sexual), Storge (affectionate), Phileo (brotherly or friendship), and Agape (God’s love, the sort of love that lets you love someone as a human being merely because that is what they are, in spite of the choices they’ve made (good or bad)). Everyone wants all four, but not everyone understands how to get all four, so they look for them in the wrong places (like the men you are talking about). All that has to be done is to persuade them of the right places, and that isn’t impossible because those right places are objectively better, and humans are the sort of things that can understand objective reality. No body really wants to do evil. They are just confused and need to be taught a better way. The teaching might be difficult, and the students might reject it to their dying day. But the only way they will change is if someone is an example for them of that better way.

Maybe not. The claim that women can only love the whole man made women out to be more robotic than human. The fact that many women are more man than woman nowadays actually supports his claim that women aren’t human. You see, humans have the ability to choose between right and wrong, but the bishop said that women can only choose right when it comes to love while men can choose wrong: he dehumanized them. That is precisely the sort of thing that turned women into men: women thinking they were just superior to men, because men are naturally stronger than women: that is what makes them men, thus, when women are stronger than men, women are men and men are women. The Bishop attributed a higher capacity for love to men by saying they could experience it corporeally as well as spiritually, while women could only experience it spiritually. The Bishop would be pleased that the fake superiority (fake because a lower capacity, although magnifying a the usually brighter part of a generally positive attribute actually takes away half of the humanity of women) which he told women they have has become so widely accepted that now women are acting like men out in the open and some men think that women are just as manly, if not more than them, as them.
