In 220kv level also we use PT in bus and cvt in line. PT is used where accuracy is required. Accuracy level is less in cvt than in PT.

Bus PT - As name Suggest it's protect Yo bus from UV & OV. Also use for bus bar synchronization. Line PT - it's protect Yo Line from UV. Use at main out going from bus system like Trafo incomer ,PCC incoming etc.
