Good evening brother hamis, by the grace of Allah I have started goat farming 2months ago I started with 4 locals and yesterday being 7th March 2022 I took one of them to a friend's farm who had 100% boer goat for crossing so that is my story so far. I will keep you posted for necessary advice.

OMG. Great information. Learning every day. But the heifer feedlots is the greatest information I'm getting from Hamisi

But I would love to add if you don't have enough capital to jump direct into the hybrids that's 75%, just start locally and chill for the project to grow. We are not equal but we have to start somewhere. Cheers, Kenyan.

Starting with local goats is advantageous for a farmer to learn about commercial goat farming then mix them with high breed you will have a strong breed which will adapt well .
