I graduated in 1974 and I cannot believe that other then the fact that the metal furniture has been replaced by wooden fixtures, some of the dorms are still as dumpy as they were 40 years ago.

Okay. I graduated in '77, but hear me out. To start with, I was tripled-up in Conover C because the room was one cinder block wider, but we were still charged the same rate. The only person with a suite was the RA, who we only saw when we were getting reamed for having too much happiness in the hallways. There was rarely anyone staffing the front desk, people just wandered in and out as they liked (except after 10pm or so). I'm so sorry that current Rider students must live in such a climate of fear. You even need a code to go to the bathroom? Sheesh! Speaking of bathrooms, some of the pics in this video show plumbing even I recognize! Do you have wifi? We didn't even have cable. (Ask your parents about rabbit ears.) To keep our bathrooms and hallways clean, we tipped (bribed, invited to parties) the janitorial staff. Our basement was a basement: no one went there except to store bicycles and do laundry. We had a dorm softball team, keg parties every few weeks, and once Conover (and others) streaked the campus (ask your parents about that, too)! I wouldn't trade my life at Rider for your's anyday!

Do you know the dorm room sizes for Ziegler? And if the closets have doors?
