Abidjan was such of great city in late 70s. Unfortunately political instability from 1999 to 2010 kinda slow many sectors. But we hope the best for our beautiful country and Africa as all.

Well.. If Abidjan was so great as opposed to Nairobi why are so many Ivorians immigranting to Kenya compared to Kenyans going to Ivory Coast? I feel your opinion might by biased probably trying to lure Ivorians to your channel but as Someone who has lived in both places I would without a second doubt say Nairobi is more of an international city with much more to offer compared to Ivory coast. Nairobi has more capital and the Middle income is bigger and therefore businesses are more likely to succeed more in Nairobi compared to Abidjan, Nairobi also has better living standards, the real estate in Nairobi is only second to SOUTH Africa in Sub-Saharan Africa and that has been well documented. But again it depends on where you lived and I get a feeling you either never spent most times in Nairobi and only relied on stories you were told or you might again be looking out to gaining more Ivorians to your channel by being biased. Nairobi is the 6th richest city in Africa compared to Abidjan, the infrastructure in Nairobi is only comparable to South African cities like Joh-burg. Abidjan to me might be the best city in west Africa because most west African cities are honestly very badly planned and over populated but to seriously purport that it's better than Nairobi in most of the aspects you mentioned is over stretching it.

For sure ! Based on what Ivory Coast went through from 1999 to 2011, Kenya has taken the lead. During 70s to 90s, I think both cities were comparables. Anyways, we Ivorians enjoy how Nairobi is growing up fast and we are rebuilding our city and our country. Abidjan will rise up again 😉

@@mwangigitau286 If the lady says she prefers certain aspects of Abidjan to Nairobi, that's her opinion and you must respect it. If you are a civilized human being, you shouldn't get worked up just because somebody prefers certain aspects of another city to your city. Your opinion of Nairobi is not shared by everyone. That's commons sense. Acheni chocha mingi my Kenyan brothers and sisters. You are sowing seeds of hatred in the hearts of your brothers and sisters from other African countries with this behavior.

My Kenyan brothers are being immature and stupid in their comments. The lady is sharing her views. That doesn't call for harsh comments If she says she prefers certain aspects of her experience in Abidjan to Kenya, you don't force her to say what you want about Kenya. Let's learn to accept and listen to opinions that are contrary to ours.

Thank you for the content. Oh by the way, think about teaching some basic Swahili in your next video

Abidjan is hot few pple use insant hot shower whereas in Nairobi with the cold hot water is a must, the majority need and use hot water hence many and easier instant hot shower availability.
@LaGoKenyane4 жыл бұрын
But in Abidjan they still have hot water tanks so...anyway I was pointing out the fact that as much as they still have the 'chauffe l'eau' it would be better to have instant hot water. Electricity in Abidjan is very expensive and that water heater takes up a lot of elctricity.
