Hi there, is there why the reason no English subtitles in your video this time ya? you made a mistake in your video info la, job certificates are necessary to put in the resume but it is not the main criteria for job acceptance now. And Singapore education is now focusing on holistic development so the U students have to go through internship to gain job experience before getting full time job. Did you include internship in your video presentation too? Potential employers will see their past job experience and not just on grades lol.

I usually add the English subtitles with a few days of the video's release. Although I agree that Singapore is adopting a holistic approach to its education policies, I think many fresh graduates would agree that they face difficulties in their job-hunting, since many companies which have open 'entry-level' positions still require some years of work experiences. As mentioned in my video (4:16), many of us at that point of time have been full-time students, and the only work experiences that we have are in our school clubs, part-times, internships/attachments, and NS.

Final Year Project(卒論のようなもの)は最終成績に大きく影響するので、給料の交渉や雇用条件を引き上げる可能性がありますね。その一方成績が最後に悪くなると、条件が悪くなる可能性があるので、最後まで油断できないです😅

There are many differences between the recruitment and job-hunting practices in Japan and Singapore. However, I think it is vital for foreign job applicants in Japan to understand not just the language, but the culture of the country they are applying a job in.
