Thanks! I've heard that there's a difference between seeing a performance on TV and seeing it outside the house: 'I went to *see* my favorite singer/comedian'; 'we *saw* a movie in a theater'; 'I *saw* a football match' (in a stadium). Does your experience agree to this? What do you think is the *rationale* for this split? And would 'watch' sound really awkward in these? Also, I've heard another rule: 'I'm watching a movie now' but 'I saw a movie in the past'. Do you agree? If yes, what do you think is the rationale here? What about the future tense? Would 'watch' in all three tenses sound really awkward? Thanks!
