It's simple, Rick. You don't work with them. You aren't supposed to work with them. You give them the gospel. You tell them about Jesus. You give them food and water and shelter along with the gospel, but you don't tell them that you'll work with them to make a better world. They are total heathens.

Sorry Rick, while I would agree feeding hungry people and healing sick people are "good things" to do, as a Baptist pastor you should know that the "Greater good of everybody in the world" is to share with them the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Moreover, you say we can maintain our convictions without compromise, but how can we do that when the Bible says "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?"

Notice how false prophets and lying teachers NEVER use the REAL Word of God, the Authorized King James bible? (John 8:31-32) "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; {32} And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Rick Warren was NEVER been in the Word of God to begin with, nor has he continued in it. A born again bible believer would NEVER work with the enemy, but speak the Word in their ears, in the hope of Christ that He convert them, saving them from hell.

The enemy is so easy to spot to the rightly dividing Christian. Think about this: Would the Christian community *CELEBRATE* if a major Muslim leader said that Allah and The God of the Bible are the same and are interchangeable? Of course not because we KNOW our God. Then why did the Muslims agree so happily, the statement by Warren that the two are the same? Because by making the claim that they are one in the same, the Muslim god, Allah, was _elevated_ infinitely to the status of the TRUE God. And in the heart of the Muslim, they KNOW that they worship a false god. (Romans 1:19) The God of the Bible is the TRUE God Who created all things seen and unseen and the creation knows Who it is that made them.

When even the world recognizes the error of Warren's ways, he's in big trouble. Christ does command us to forgive those who wrong us. He never tells us to merge with their evil religions or their evil practices or, worst of all, deny Jesus by signing a ludicrous document like that.
