Great video. Helps me to see I am very close to zeroing in with my system. But you got flustered at the end and didn’t mention the pressure setting when you used the chemlawn nozzle. I would LOVE to know that because thus far my experience with it has been much lower PSI than my premium set up with the 1gpm fan. So I suspect I’m messing up badly with the chemlawn way. 🤔

Fairly new to spraying. Currently just use a flowzone. Are there dilution concerns with specific products when you go off label and use more water than is called for. I've never seen a label rated at 2 gal/1000.
@richardharwell5 ай бұрын
There should be no problem you are still using the same amount of product per 1000 square feet. You are just adding more water and using it within that 1000 square feet so you are using the same amount. Of product? As. You would be normally in that same area.

what kind of pump do you use? Ive been thinking of using a tank to added the product in. But was wondering what size pump would it be need for about 200 feet of hose? I dont have a end sprayer yet for the hose. Haven’t thought that far ahead.

Pete, mark me down for a gauge as well. I just got my cart buddy last week. I will be applying PGR along with soil amendments and other pesticides throughout the year. I feel the Chemlawn is best for the fert and soil amendments, but I am thinking the premium wide nozzle or boom with a good fan tip is best for complete blade coverage(PGR). What are your thoughts? I just think based on your results in this video the wide nozzle is the best route. Thanks for the videos, they are always super helpful.

Just a heads up to the people watching this, some chemicals do better as a low volume application and some do better with higher volumes. Spray coverage isn't indictive of the quality of the end result. For instance glyphosate (roundup) works better with a coarse and concentrated droplet where it can drip down into the crown and margins of the leaf blade (only so much liquid can occupy these spaces so a higher concentration droplet will work better) while revolver / celsius that absorb more through leaf tissue work better with a medium / fine droplet with more total leaf blade coverage that may not drip into the crown / margins. This industry requires a life to learn and it is always evolving so if you are interested never stop researching.

Pete, I love you and my yard looks 10 times better because of you. But I have to give you some constructive criticism. I think you need to rename your products. Maybe it’s me, but I get very confused what the cart, spray, nozzle, spot buddy is. Im not the sharpest knife in the drawer so it probably me. lol. Just thought I should mention cause these products are great.
