Better than joining any institute try to learn illustration and basics . If you still want to do then take diploma from any institute and work under any local designer for an year then with this experience try to assist big names you will get easily knowledge and experience speaks .. then you will grow .. MANISH Malhotra, Rocky S , Abujani , Sabyasachi etc big names are not from NIFT pearl , nid, JD or INIFD . Experience counts .. even after completing a course from NID or NIFT you need to work as an assistant to learn. Then why spend a lot of money on that. Still want to do try diploma. I too did graduation but people with diploma or experience on stitching and pattern making are also working . There are many branches from Costume Design , Fashion Design , Textile Design , product design and so on.. learn basics first and do diploma . I remember when MANISH Malhotra came to our institute for workshop he asked “what is Bachelor in fashion ?, these are courses only don’t work try learning basic concept and illustrations “ if you want still to join any institute I recommend to do diploma from NIFT

I'll try to cover soon, I suggest that design course me genuine interest hona chahiye , because yah aisi study hai jismein soft skill ka hona jaruri hai . Aap apni daughter se puchiye ki unhen kis mein interest hai interior or fashion because both are completely different.
