If you get a notification of viruses being in your computer, check from which application it is from to confirm if it is legit or not. I had to block notifications from several websites because I kept getting notifications of my computer being infected every 10 seconds from Microsoft Edge rather than from my actual antivirus.

@@westandwithpalastine5423 What is the scareware trying to do, and how do we get it off? I get notifications of viruses from plenty-of-fish dating site when I try to input information into certain fields. It looks really suspicious so I don't click further.

@@mouthpiece200 the scareware os trying to force or convince you to click on certain bottoms "maybe saying your browser is infected download this antivirus" but is really trying to download some sort of other malware or give higher permissions for them. Essentially you need to install an reputable antivirus and uninstall any unwanted suspicious softwares that are running on your computer, also uninstall any unwanted extensions on your browser. Remember to never click or respond to those scary messages or windows.
