They really hate to see 2 people working anywhere near each other in retail. The worst is the manager used to hang out talking 2 weeks ago b4 their promotion, then they became a manager and are a different person. Lol. That used to drive me crazy.

The exact same situation happened to me when I was working in retail. We were going through a lull in the day and there wasn’t a single customer in the store. Our sections were tidy and we had already put all the clothes back from the change room. So me and my friend are just talking and the manager comes to separate us….for what reason? There’s no harm in relaxing a bit when there’s absolutely nothing to do 🤦‍♂️
