I can remember the first time I was ever in a talent show was when I sang amarica the beautiful at my school talent show at Robinson elementry. I wore an uncle Sam hat and everything! I was so excited, but also a bit anxious too! I remember when I peeked out from behind the curtin and saw how many pepole were there, I got butterflies in my stomach, my haert was pounding, and I started to sweat. I was really nervous, but then I stopped and closed my eyes and took four deep breathes and told myself I chould do it, and I did! It was awesome! Rain.

I still find it baffling that some schools essentially force students to take part in a talent show. My school talent shows were mostly pretty entertaining because it was all volunteer. There was either always people with genuinely amazing talents, people who have very offshoot talents no one really knows about or cares for, and that one popular kid that gets a majority of the votes because everyone likes them.
