Hate to pop your Adelaide bubble but it's not happening. The local V8 races don't come here any more and even if they did, there's be a safety issue with I think it's turn 10 on the F1 layout due to a recent death on track. Need to look at the Tailem Bend track, which I think is already rated for F1 standard and was primed as the alternative Australia venue during last year.

There not even having the V8’s in Adelaide anymore as i live there, if your saying you want a grand prix in Adelaide. Tailem Bend is a racing circuit but it’s only a grade 2 track

The real solution to solving f1's boring races is make the cars stronger so drivers can actually bump eachother without losing half the car in carbon confetti good video tho

That will make the cars heavier and they will become slower. The real solution is to improve the aerodynamics so that the cars can follow the car in front closely in corners and make the cars smaller. All of which is being done in 2022

Sydney will get on the calendar when Adelaide returns, basically never. Adelaide needs to come back first. I hate Albert Park (especially because Bernie Eclston moved the Grand Prix there in 94 behind everyone’s backs.

With all the infrastructure at Adelaide being sold off after the Supercars round was discontinued, I doubt the circuit will be used for racing any time soon.

@@dominicbarden4436 Basically that, yeah. There's more of a chance that the race will go to Tailem Bend... once the owner there gets the track up to Grade 1 status AND shortens it. (Not kidding, the only layout that is within FIA Grade 1 regulations is the *short* track. The main circuit that he probably intends to use is a bit over the 7km max limit!) Still a bit IF though.
