At 7:05, why don't we write the derivative to be 2x+C, and we only write 2x? When do we know when to include it or not?

You'll include it for all indefinite integrals. In this particular case, see the integrating factor as sort of a set formula, just know you don't need it there (it's because it gets sorted out when you add c at the end.)

Because e^[ln(x) +c] is the same as [e^ln(x)]*[e^c] = [e^ln(x)]*A, because A=e^c. You apply exponent laws.
