deja vu holds such a special place in the fandom, it really is a masterpiece and has so much emotions. this song gave us so much, from siyeon's intro to handong's finally well deserved lines and the iconic jiu and yoohyeon sword scenes. everything is so perfect, the music video is probably their most beautiful one, the song holds so many emotions and I can definitely tell that every single insomnia cherish this song

Moods Fun story : The MV came out when I was in the middle of a school trip or something. I literally hid (cause we were supposed to pay attention and turn off our phones) to watch it. I probably stayed still for a whole 10 minutes trying to recover and they were looking for me everywhere.

Even the story they represented was amazing, I'm not sure at 100% what happens but here's a logic theory from reddit: My original theory on the Deja Vu video was that Yoohyeon was a queen and the other members were her court. JiU betrayed her and became queen, but Yoohyeon came back and took the throne back but lost all her friends in the process. However, after rewatching the video, there are a lot of parts where the members look spiteful towards Yoohyeon or walking away sadly, which makes me think that Yoohyeon's betrayal was the flashback, and her sitting alone on the throne is the present and JiU in the black dress is a ghost or something back for revenge. That would explain why Yoohyeon looks so shocked to see her. If you look at the scene where jiU opens her eyes in the coffin, only five members are there. And JiU is the only one to see Yoohyeon in the coffin. So that begs the question: who betrayed first? I think either interpretation could be correct, but I want to know what other insomnias thought. Well anyway... DEJA VU IS INEFABLE

This MV just like their others is an intricate story based masterpiece. It's about a Queen and her 6 friends but one of them thirsts for power and decides to fight the Queen for it and even though she gains power she looses her friends and is left lonely in the end. There is also a lot of things based on perception and how each person is the hero of their own story. This is why JiU and Yoohyeon as both shown as the villain and the Queen as well. It just depends on who's eyes you see it through. I'd really suggest watching a guide (in your own time if you wish) to completely understand the story and essence of the song and MV to do it justice. Most relatable Deja Vu reaction I’ve ever seen. I also cried watching this for the first time (it was actually the first ever Dreamcatcher mv I saw and you alr know I stanned immediately) except I didn’t make it passed Handong’s “holding this pain” before I let the tears flow. I think in that moment I knew they were something special, a hidden gem in kpop. And now when I watch it after being an Insomnia for over a year and them being my ults, it makes me even that much more emotional. I’m just so proud of them and sad at the same time that they don’t get the proper recognition they deserve. I truly, honestly believe, with every fiber of my being, that Dreamcatcher is the best girl group out there right now. There’s literally nothing they lack and they are so incredibly unique. They deserve to be the most popular girl group and I will never stop saying that. So to know that you guys are also going down the same road is amazing to watch.
