IDK there’s something abt the girl groups debuting this year that are just…on another level??? They all just have something to them that’s drawing me in and seems so authentic. Like instead of presenting themselves as “perfect” idols with incredible charisma, we’re meeting them where they are and are seeing their charms and connection with each other as they naturally come. I’m surprised how much that comes out in their MUSIC as much as it does in their performances. I’m loving this era of girl groups.

Basically, TrippleS is going to work like the NCT system, they'll continue to add more members as the group grows and more units, AAA (Acid Angels of Asia) is the first subunit that has debuted in TrippleS, the next unit that was teased at the end is going to be the next unit to debut under TrippleS 💫

love your reaction! the whole group is going to be compromised of 24 members, all with rotating subunits in which fans are able to vote and participate in the process of creating them. the first two subunits were recently voted on in order to decide which members were placed in them only with a demo of each title track. the group is pushing its interactive nature with fans. also a fun fact about this group is that their creative director is the same as OnlyOneOf. there are a few producers who have worked on OOO’s music on the album too!

Regarding the age thing, I'm nearly 53yo 😱 and discovered K-pop through the FBE React channel with "Boombayah" -- I was hooked. Before then, I'd basically stopped listening to new music. And when I found Dreamcatcher, I was immediately taken back to my teen years and the powerful rock women of the 1980s! When you're older, you can always reminisce & relate to the experiences of your younger days -- and good music is good music, regardless of the artists' ages, nationalities, languages, etc. Sadly, the downside of youthful stardom just caught up with troubled child-star singer Aaron Carter (younger brother of "Backstreet Boys" Nick) who shot to fame at NINE-years-old, but yesterday, was found at home, dead in his bathtub. RIP.

i knew kim yooyeon one of the members (the leader and oldest 21 years old) from the survival show called my teenage girl and so i was excited she was finally debuting! and yes kim nakyoung is bibi's sister but she is talented and does not need to be defined by her sister :) and the other two are jeong hyerin and gong yubin also super talented! but yea right now these people debuting are for the younger generation because time moves and people grow older so every generation will have their own groups around their age. i am def becoming more open minded! great reaction! this song is so catchy!

tripleS is going to be a 24 member group with no definite number of subunit and currently as there are only 8 members revealed, there were 2 subunits formed (AAA and (KR)ystal eyes) both a 4 member subunit which was created by fans through a voting system using their COSMO app. they will continue this method that means they will have different combination of members forming subunits. their music is going to rotate from whole group, subunits and solos. They have a reality type daily content on their channel which shows how they live their lives and how they progress in becoming an idol. i hope you check them out

TripleS is a flexible group with a system like NCT's, where they'll debut slowly in subunits and they can also do larger group or solo music depending on the fans' decisions! The past few months, they've been releasing a HUGE amount of predebut content (they have a video for nearly everyday) where we get to know the girls. At the moment, they've released 8 members (they revealed them in usually 3-4 week intervals)--including a few contestants from My Teenage Girl and BIBI's sister, Nakyung.

I've read somewhere that the fans get to choose who to put into a sub-unit and it is just temporary but if they reach a certain number of sales, 100k if I'm not mistaken then they'll be a permanent sub-unit.

The MV was refreshing and it felt personal and not a refined and huge budget MV which was nice and song is also good, the only complaint i have is that the sub-units will keep getting replaced until they reach 100k album sales which is a crazy number coming from a small company. 100k is just under what DC is currently getting, i understand that new rookie girl groups are getting 500k-1m easily but that's cause they come from a big 3 or have already had their name out there from being in previous groups

Not really… the units will always keep rotating. They’re not really meant to be permanent cause that goes directly against the concept of the group that’s why the sales number needed is so high. They’re not expecting to reach it, it’s only a metric they use to prolong a unit for a while (they never said anything about permanency) in case there’s HUGEE demand. Ofc this can be a system ur not a fan of, not everyone is on board for flexible groups. But the 100k is not a necessity or expected thing for them, fans were actually really happy about it when it got announced cause we saw it as a chance to keep a unit around for longer knowing that’s not what’s actually supposed to happen.

It's intentionally high because the concept is supposed to be endless rotation. It was more like modhaus gave fans the ability to break the concept if they insisted upon it.

@@malektaj5091 So if 1 subunit does get over 100k all others have to wait with the potential to never debut if that 1 subunit keeps getting over 100k, they should have just done it like nct and debut subunits regardless of 100k sales cause who knows maybe the subunit that hasn't debuted could be more popular than the one doing 100k sales it's all speculation on my part so I'll just keep watching for now.

@@ARE_jr no.. Every season EVERY member will be put in a formation. Then each of them get a release and when all of them are done the next season begins and new formations get formed. The success of a unit does not stop other members from promoting or performing, it only means the members in a prolonged unit can't be switched into a different unit at that time.

i don't think modhous really expecting 100k album sale from them, it was just a wishful lucky consequence if AAA end up selling that much, it means they just hit a jockpot and it's a good business keeping this unit as permanent until they able to form another unit out from the other 20 girls that can generate the same amount of sale. overall chances of them hitting 100k sales is so slim and i'll be shocked if they did the unexpected.

AAA is a sub-unit of the tripleS group that will be made up of 24 girls, only 8 girls have been revealed, and for now they are divided into two groups "AAA" and +(KR)ystal Eyes. The girls are being revealed one by one like S1, S2, S3...etc. the other subunit will debut in 2023, and more girls will be revealed. I'm 29 and have been listening to kpop since 2NE1 debuted back in 2009. I'll admit sometimes I feel weird listening to groups like NewJeans but the songs are a bop and a half. I really don't engage much beyond the music though, which is probably where my age shows.

Despite their appearance 3 of the members of AAA are of typical idol age at (21,20,17) however one member is 15. The average age of the next unit is lower, but fortunately TripleS doesn't have any members younger than 15. Hopefully the next members to be revealed are all older. I'm sure a lot of people have mentioned it already but TripleS is a group by Modhaus founded by Jaden Jeong (Onlyoneof, Loona) he still works with Onlyoneof as their creative director and it seems things will remain this way. (remains to be seen how 8D handles it tho)

5:45 actually it's only in the 4th gen that they're debuting minors and it's not a generation thing, I think it's an unspoken rule between K-Pop companies. I'm 30 now turning 31 and I was listening to 2nd gen back then when I was 17 and most of them were years older than me and only a few were of my age. So yeah they're getting younger. There weren't much issues about debuting minors back then because a lot of the idols during 2nd gen debut with above the legal age.

To those who are confused by the name of their group. TripleS is a whole group name consisting of 24 members. And Acid Angel from Asia is the first sub unit. With yooyeon-21, nakyoung-20, yubin-17 and hyerin-15. They have also released the album and this is the title track. As a result the members left 20 members. The last elevator movie scene is next TripleS 2nd unit group (KR)ystal Eyes. The unit consists of 4 members. Yoon Seoyeon, Kim Chaeyeon, Lee Jiwoo and Kim Soomin. Their debut is unknown. However, it is predicted that they will debut in late 2022/early 2023. Thank you. 😁👍🇵🇭

I just streamed the whole e.p. and wow it's really interesting. The whole thing sounded like if Of Montreal were a Kpop girl group. The song Rolex is a trip and features a cello riff. Too bad they got disbanded before most people ever heard of them. The label's publicity sucks and their management bailed way too early.
