I feel like the message of this one is that he was her "home" so the house represented the relationship. As time goes by and she starts to realize, as she said, "my absence from my own day" she started to understand his ego. In the end the narcissist tag represented him and the house the relationship. She was burning it all to move on while giving herself a memory to not fall for such a self-absorbed person again. All the scenes upside down are her confusion and the rightway scenes with him are her realizing the train wreck that the relationship has become and becoming disillusioned.
