Just got a kx121-3 and dug up a few trees so far with a 12" bucket. Got several large trees I want to dig up was looking at your ripper. Not sure what one is better than the other; What you think which one to look at?

The ripper is the best one for small to very large stumps start to finish. Ive tryed starting with a 24" bucket then all ways switch to ripper half way in for very large stumps. It help really get in the tight spots and helps get right in there, under the stump to break it loose from what ever else is hold it down.

I have a similar machine but it's a kx161-3 super series. Are you able to change this machine to a one way flow for a brush cutter so you can use the trigger? Can you make a how to video on that?

yes there is a trigger on the front of the right joystick which activates the one way function (one of the thumb hoses). I dont have it hooked for any rotary attachments but its already built into the machine. Will need to a diverter valve to switch over easily. It also has adjustable flow settings for each of the thumb directions in the controls menu. I may just make a video on this. Thanks for the idea!

@@JohnFrancoNH yes please do! I think mine has some issues. I can't get it into other modes, but maybe I'm doing it wrong. And when I hit my trigger button the control panel beeps once. Then when I hit it again it beeps twice. But no hydraulic action. The right hand thumb switch swivel works properly with my thumb and tilt bucket.
