People do prepare for plab and usmle. But it is a long process and expensive too so most of people opt to practice in india and some people have family restrictions also. But a lot of students do give plab and usmle every year.

Mujhe to fmge pass karne ke baad bhot struggle karna pada tha internship ke lie .. almost 2.5 months. Bhot depressed tha. Delhi ke DDU hospital and NRC hospital ke interview mein Mujhe deliberately fail kar dia Gaya. I started thinking ki eventually Mujhe Delhi ke baahir Jaana hoga but thankfully Delhi mein mill gayi thi internship.

The thing is even those who have got their medical degree from a foreign university go through an exam in India to check their eligibility which is not an easy one to pass.
