LYRICS:
I wanna dig, dig, dig a little deeper
I wanna dig, dig, dig a little deeper
I wanna dig, dig, dig a little deeper
I wanna dig, dig, dig a little deeper
Dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig a little deeper in His love
Dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Well, I wanna walk a little more like my Jesus would
I wanna talk a little more like I know I should
I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Nearer to Thee
I want to be
Well, I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Let my light shine
In love divine
Well, I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Well, I wanna dig, dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig, dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig, dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Lord, I wanna walk, walk a little more like my Jesus would
I wanna talk a little more like a Christian should
I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
I wanna dig, dig, dig a little deeper
I wanna dig, dig, dig a little deeper
I wanna dig, dig, dig a little deeper
Dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig a little deeper in His love
Dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Well, I wanna walk a little more like my Jesus would
I wanna talk talk a little more like I know I should
I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Well, I wanna dig, dig a little deeper in His love
Yes, I wanna dig, dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Well, I wanna walk a little more like my Jesus would
I wanna talk a little more like a Christian should
I wanna dig a little deeper in the store house
Of His love, of His love
Well, I wanna dig a little deeper in His love
Dig a little deeper in His love
I wanna dig a little deeper in the storehouse
Of His love, of His love
Well, I wanna walk a little more like Jesus would
Talk a little more like a Christian should
Wanna dig a little deeper in the storehouse
I wanna dig a little deeper in the storehouse
Dig a little deeper in the storehouse
Of His love, of His love
Dig, dig, dig a little deeper
Dig, dig, dig a little deeper
Dig, dig, dig a little deeper

Brother Ed Enoch is such an underrated quartet lead, he can sound like Jake Hess, Jack Toney, or Elvis, and he does the Jake Hess bug-eyes thing, too, but he also has his own style. When Donnie Sumner left the group and Ed Enoch slid up from baritone, those were my favorite line-ups, especially the Live At Murray State lineup with Bill Baize, Enoch, Ed Hill, and J.D..

Ed Enoch was always a silent anchor for this group. Even though he was JD's son-in-law he was still a steadfast icon. His appearance on PBS about Elvis and gospel music is informative. and memorable.

Baptized-Acts 22:16' And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away. Yours sins, calling on the name of the lord. John3:5 Jesus answered, most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of the water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God You go down into that watery grave of baptism and come up a new creatures in Christ Jesus.

Believe-Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him fir he that cometh to God must believe that he is and is s Rewards if them. That diligent seek him. Mark16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does Believe will be condemned Acts 8:36,37 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "see, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?" Then Phillip daid, "If yoy believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, " I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God." You believe with the heart of mind not the heart that pumps blood thur your veins. But your brain.

It is a technique used by bass singers so they can hear themselves. Speaking as a singer, the lower you go the harder it is to tell if you are on key or not.

It's slightly sharp. But, this is a live performance, and singing an F#1 can be difficult; in fact, the vast majority of bass singers can't reach that note, at least, not in the modal register. Still, J. D. was a monster bass singer, who sang very low notes, night after night.
