All depends what shoes you buy, I was buying Jordan’s before they came back in and I have over 90 pairs and majority of them I bought for retail. I walked into footlocker and bought 2 pairs of black cement 3s for 125 on sale, 3 years later I could sell them right now for 300 minimum on stockx and make 175 per shoe over 3 years. Say I bought the whole shelf 50 pairs making 175 a pair. Telling me that’s not an investment for shoes just sat in my room? I could have done it I just didn’t have the capital at the time.
