How exciting to learn about these grave contents. Genetic testing traced my father’s background back to Cumbria and 40% of my genetic heritage is Scandinavian as well as genetic links to Orkney. This gives a degree of genetic historical impact to my genetic testing with these findings even though a very generalized background. Thanks for this.

My mother is 98.7% Scandinavian and I am 59.6% Scandinavian. I would love to compare my mother's DNA to the DNA from this burial site.

Hm, 'Horrifically excited.' Such a marvelous description of the dynamics. I love it! In my mind's eye I see an initially somewhat frail and desiccated looking civil servant, exploding in pleasantly violent hilarity and intense curiosity whilst transforming into a frightful spectre of superman civil-servility.
