We ran a bowling alley from the fifties till present time. bottles that where supplied by say Coca-Cola where not thrown into holes ,they where accounted for and given back to the supplier of the pop. We didnt own the bottles just the contents. So when you where digging the store privy i wasnt surprised you didnt find much. My Uncle would get pretty upset if you broke pop bottles by accident. We had to pay the supplier for his container.Good vids.

I gotta know what you normally use to get those bottles so clean. Because elbow grease doesn't always work.

Ed Daniels I use the works toilet bowl cleaner and 1000 grit sand paper.

That was a nice milk bottle from Woodbridge, NJ that you found. FYI, I find old slug plated milks from different towns in NJ and I sell them for $50 to $100 each. So what do you mean if it's from NJ its not worth much? We have great dumps in NJ with a wide variety of stuff going back to the mid 1800s. But most of my dumps are dated from the 1890s to 1920s. Please stop being prejudiced against NJ and us northerners too. I enjoy all you videos as they are educational and informative. Keep up the good work and good luck always.

Dumps are hard to find around here and I have no idea how to read the 1885 maps.

Dumps can't be found by lookin at maps anyway. I've tried that for 33 years with very little success. Landfills maybe, but they generally are 1938 or newer.

Dam you are digging a lot of deep holes but that means it's worth it especially if you are digging shit I know what it takes to dig a small hole good job
